Would you like to see my favourite 2023 spots for yourself ?
This is where you can find them :
- the shed in the garden of the English Convent, Bruges, Belgium
- Andries Botha’s gorgeous elephants’ herd, on permanent display at the Verbeke Foundation, Kemzeke, Belgium, but this summer on a short, well deserved holiday break to the Grand’Place, Brussels, Belgium
- sunflowers in the countryside Hertsberge, a small village in the Bruges’ woodlands, so close to where I grew up
- a view from the Castle of the Counts, on the three towers of Ghent, my teenage city
- a latte macchiato at restaurant Albert situated on the top floor of the Royal Library of Belgium, Brussels
- too many pictures to choose from showing off Bruges, so I went for some home-made graffiti, referring to the street art works in my home town
- Belgian offshore windmill parcs, seen from the ABC tower at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges platform Zeebrugge
- poppies, not in the Ypres Salient, but once again in Hertsberge
- Auguste Rodin’s Le Penseur (the thinker), at Laeken’s cemetery, Brussels, Belgium
And yes, it is me, popping up in the top left corner …
In case you’re looking for a guide to go and explore, you know where to find me 😉
